We find meaning and wisdom in the Earth Mysteries: we honor the 4 directions, the Elements, the Celtic / Native American seasons and symbolism, the Nature Beings, the God/dess in ourselves... we sing, play, dance, create with an imaginative, mythic consciousness and focus... we learn the art of consensus sacred council... we find Magic in all that we do and all that we are... and we breathe deeply, enjoy the outdoors and have fun!

Be your own Wizard.

Find the Magic inside yourself.

Wog Harts is modeled after Harry Potter's Hogwarts. So we have Potions/Herbology, Introduction to Wizardology, Spirit Arts Class, Divination/Cryptology ... and, of course, an owl that brings messages/mail... In Potions Class we use moon dust to make magical delectible edibles... Assorted faeries, pixies and other magical Beings play with and leave gifts for the students... We have learned the ancient art of shapeshiftng into dragons and other magical creatures... and we are butterflies or faeries bringing Spring or celebrating our dreams in our dance... We learn and practice more skillful ways to communicate and make decisions in sacred council circle...

We are creating magic and enchantment and we are building deep and meaningful relationships with the Earth, the Beings with whom we share our world, our community and each other.

Darlene Jenson (aka Professor Darladore) is "Headmistress" of Wog Harts School of Natural Magic. She was inspired to create this school by her son and his friends. Harry Potter was a central theme in their play and she wanted to keep his friends connected to them. She enjoys being creative with an educational curriculum for homeschool students. Her basic philosophy is that we are learning all the time. "Education happens everywhere, especially if you keep your eyes and mind open." A life-long learner, she enjoys creating an environment that encourages exploration and experimentation. "I love to take a student's ideas and support them as they explore, create and problem solve." more

Jeanne-Marie Sutherland teaches sacred /sword /Goddess dance, mythic costuming, empowerment arts, bardic arts (storytelling & story craft) and consensus sacred council at Wog Harts. Jeanne-Marie uses the fundamentals of different cultural dance using the symbolism and movement to express metaphors & archetypes. Jeanne-Marie's training as a creative arts therapist and her participation in a consensus community for several years, has given her a unique approach to teaching compassionate communication and team building in sacred circle. She is often engaged in "mythic consciousness" which guides her in creating an environment filled with larger than life archetypes and metaphors. more
